If you say it right, I'll be right on time.

What starts out like some unearthed Motown track then quickly takes a turn toward an Animal Collective/Panda Bear/Beach Boys vibe.
As such, this young Kentucky band most certainly deserves my decree of song of the day from album of the week.
Enjoy.

If I have gone away, don't worry, it is only forever.

What do you get when you take members of Hot Chip + Spiritualized + This Heat and have them record a full album over the course of one day at Abbey Road?
You get the song of the day from album of the week.
Loving this:

"It was love at first sight, at last sight, at ever and ever sight."

Song of the day from (a super amazing) album of the week.
And if it doesn't click at first, give it a bit before you write it off.

Solid/accurate review on Pitchfork too:

If I go on living without your love.

I was at SXSW for the full 10 day extravaganza, came back and almost immediately came down with a burly sinus cold.
Finally feeling human again, I still intend to post a kind of SXSW wrap-up, but in the meantime, I came across a great little pop song from the band Princeton,
and the vibe is just hitting so right at the moment that I wanted to share it right away:
