Dusk before my very eyes.

OK, Yo La Tengo, I am falling back in love with you all over again.

(P.S. I was trying to post the track "More Stars Than There Are In Heaven" but apparently the file is too big to post).

In your eyes, I am magnified.

Picked up a Leica C-Lux 3 yesterday and proceed to get all black & white with it.
Reminds me of, say circa 1993, being arty, with Andrew in Detroit and me in Milwaukee.
And this track from the new Julian Plenti (Paul Banks from Interpol) album has just the right accompanying vibe.
Dig it, yo.

My bed's too big for just me.

Bailey had a really traumatic bike accident this past weekend and it was fucking scary.
Instead of telling about it, all I want to say for now is that I am so happy that she's OK.
I love this gal.

This new jam from the side project of Rostam (Vampire Weekend) and Wes (Ra Ra Riot) goes out to her:

You and me are the new twin of myself.

Song of the day.
Reminds of the first time I heard Air.
So 1998 all over again.
I'm cool with that.

This past weekend I packed it in and headed upstate with Bailey.
Really hit the spot.
Needed to get out of the NYC urban jungle for a little reprieve.
Reminded me of Oregon up there.

Hitting my stride, getting into the zone, stripping things to the bone.

It's Friday and I'll be heading home shortly to hook up our new Wii and play with Bailey into the wee hours of the night.
In the meantime, I'm still obsessing over this new album, and in particular, this track and wanted to share it.
Guess I'm just a sucker for distortion in folk music.

Also, saw this new-ish wheatpasting on my block:
