There's beauty in that rainbow in the sky.

This post is dedicated to my wife, Bailey, and to welcome our new baby boy, Emmett James Johnson, into this world. You're the most beautiful and remarkable thing to happen to us. May you have an amazing life full of love, joy, adventure, friendship and wonder.

I said I could rise from the harness of our goals.

I've got the promo of this and it's already well ahead in the running for top albums of 2010.
Seriously, seriously.
Is anyone else talking about how musicians like this are carrying the Bob Dylan torch?
Love this. The whole album kills it.

Also, check out his beautiful La Blogotheque performance:

I can't see my reflection in the water/I shall be released.

Seeing Dylan tonight at the United Palace Theater up in Harlem.
Though some come close, his meaning in my life greatly surpasses all other music and musicians.
For me, now, getting to see him play, here at this moment in my life, in this place, in this city, with all the romance of my history pressed up against me, pushing me forward into the overwhelming scale and mystery of the great next unknown
with every thing gained and lost, all those loved, things torn,
it'll be like coming home after a very long time, from unexpected travels that have made me heart-worn, heart-stronger.

A prodigal son to the father.
A lost child to it's mother.
Beginning to the end to begin again.
A light come shining.
