From the Spanish band, Delorean's upcoming album "Subiza".
Vox sounds a bit like Noah Lennox/Panda Bear, don't you think? Onwards, spring!

From what I'm hearing and reading, EMI is really banking on the new Gorillaz album going gangbusters to help save the day.
Curious how this is going to play out, but this much I can say: it's a pretty darn solid release.
For some reason, I always kind of expect to not like the Gorillaz and every time I am pleasantly surprised.
I particularly dig this track.
I really love the spot in the song where it changes over to the Little Dragon vibe.
Swish.
Old friends from Portland done good.
Signed to Warp Records a few years ago, worked diligently on their album and now it's finally coming out.
Super excited for them.
It's a really solid record.

In my opinion, Four Tet seems one of the most underrated and snoozed-on musicians of recent history.
Personally, I think he's creating some of the most interesting music out there and as far as I can tell (though maybe I am mistaken and with the exception of people I know who love him), he might not be getting the recognition he deserves.
Here's to hoping that changes.
And here's a beautiful track of his most recent album that should help to do the trick:
Here's my first prediction of the year of an album that will see critical acclaim - The Kissaway Trail "Sleep Mountain".
Check this track out:
Just back from two amazing weeks in the Bahamas and Mexico.
Got hitched, honeymooned and hung out with my little lady, my best friends and family in the warm sun, taking it easy, swimming and drinking beer on the beach.
Trying to get back in the swing of things, though I have to say it's a little tough.
Wish I was splashing around in the Caribbean like this instead:
That said, at least I've got SXSW coming up (I'm speaking on a panel) and some new jams to listen to, including this great track from Phantogram, who just released their new album on Barsuk:
Also, included: a funny photo of my friend Jessica prepping to join in on Devo's inevitable comeback this year.
