Back from 10 extraordinary days in Austin for SXSW.
Tired as all heck, but so worth it.
Just getting caught up with work at the moment, so as soon as I can,
I'll be posting a synopsis as well as more content from my Texas adventures.
In the meantime, if you want to see what I got up to while there, you can look at my Twitter feed/archive:

Just getting into his album now and digging what I'm hearing so far.
Especially this track:
Back to Chicago after a nice, much needed stint in the Bahamas where we celebrated our one year anniversary.
It was an absolute blast.
I also finally got my turntable unpacked and picked up a pair of used PSB speakers today.
Testing them out now, I came across this lovely song from Nico.
It's beautiful melancholy feels perfect on this cold March day.
Here's to hoping that spring is not too far around the corner.
Listening to a new Radiohead album is always a very special experience for me.
It marks a moment in time that will then grow throughout my days.
With repeated listens, it's like the sudden smell of something loved that has been lost and now remembered again.
An immediate, sentimental journey - sunlight through a window, the sound of a friend's voice, a word, a meal, a wish.
And this new album is now here upon us.
So I'm just letting it wash over and coat me in new and soon-to-be old memories.

A marvelous hodgepodge of dubstep, auto-tune, reduction-ist, melancholic electronic fuzz pop.
Nice work, young sir.
The Lovers Holiday EP from Theophilus London is super, super good.
Nice work young sir.
Haven't done this series in awhile (since I basically started it), but I was listening to Stina Nordenstam's "This Is" album today and remembered how much I love this particular song.
Sounds a bit like Brian Eno "Here Come The Warm Jets" era.
Would love to see this one in a film.
Enjoy.
So now that I'm in Chicago, I'm super interested in discovering what's happening here in the music scene these days.
One of the first bands I've come across is the Smith Westerns who've just released their newest album Dye It Blonde on Fat Possum Records.
Liking what I'm hearing so far from the youngsters in this town.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Go Packers!!!
The new Adventure album will drop March 22nd and the whole thing kills it.
