You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world. I'll give you anything, everything, if you want things.

Just a little shout-out to my new jam - adding to my collection of bikes - a 2011 Trek Belleville.

Aside from being pretty and a great/functional commuter, it's actually super green (see this story: http://bit.ly/lvldSE).
I've also since put a lovely beat-up Brooks saddle on it, though this picture is before I did that, right after I bought it and rode it home.

Here's to the power and enjoyment of two-wheeled human kinetics.

Out there somewhere is the finish line.

Had a really nice summery weekend in Brooklyn.
Went and looked at potential new apartments, had brunch at Maggie Brown,
found a cafe (Sit & Wonder) nearby that sells Stumptown coffee,
met Andrew in Kensington for some hummus at Mimi's, went for a bike ride,
read some Harry Potter Order Of The Phoenix (just brushing up for the new movie)
and checked out the Afro Punk Festival block party.
All in all, a lovely time was had.

Also, just started to get into the new album from Fanfarlo.
Get ready, as I have a feeling we're going to be hearing a lot about them.
This is my favorite track so far:

My bed's too big for just me.

Bailey had a really traumatic bike accident this past weekend and it was fucking scary.
Instead of telling about it, all I want to say for now is that I am so happy that she's OK.
I love this gal.

This new jam from the side project of Rostam (Vampire Weekend) and Wes (Ra Ra Riot) goes out to her:
