And it made us feel alive/alike.

It took a little while for me to get into the vocals, but the new Efterklang is finally growing on me.
I really dig a few tracks; this one in particular.

Also, going to see Malachai tonight at Le Poisson Rouge.
Missed them down at SXSW and I'm quite curious to see how they pull off their live show.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

After 6 days/nights of music madness/awesomeness (plus great cuisine), I'm back from Austin, back in NYC, back in my little office, recuperating the best I can.
Missed this band down at SXSW, which was a bummer, but they're hitting the spot right now with some good vibes.

Simple graces, infinite desert.

A little pop music to go with the warm day.
From the Spanish band, Delorean's upcoming album "Subiza".
Vox sounds a bit like Noah Lennox/Panda Bear, don't you think?

Onwards, spring!

Little memories marching on.

From what I'm hearing and reading, EMI is really banking on the new Gorillaz album going gangbusters to help save the day.
Curious how this is going to play out, but this much I can say: it's a pretty darn solid release.
For some reason, I always kind of expect to not like the Gorillaz and every time I am pleasantly surprised.
I particularly dig this track.
I really love the spot in the song where it changes over to the Little Dragon vibe.
Swish.
